I can see two little mouse eyes staring at me from the pitta bread, but I'm too lazy to highlight where, it's sorted slanted sideways, nr bottom of pic.

Sweats Chicken Donner lookin good...tempted to give it a try

 

I will be making it again. Reckon I would tweak the recipe slightly. Also the way it’s cooked as the parts in the middle are a bit dry so would add a bit of beef dripping or add the chicken skins to the stack for a bit of fat to keep it all moist. Worth doing though.

Marinade some chicken thighs in something spicy and a bit of oil. Bung it in the slow cooker and shred after a couple of hours then leave to cook for a bit. Tastes good and doner-ish when I make it so when someone competent does it it’s probably excellent.

 

In the oven is better as you want a few crispy bits. Doing pulled chicken in the slow cooker is good though.
