Michael Stipe airing his views on US Presidents. I was using his referencing to comparing the attributes or otherwise of the Reagan and Trump. Presidencies, with the former managing to look good because he had capable people around him, whilst aTrump has created oñe in his own image. The comparison with Johnson is pretty obvious.
Why on Earth is Michael Stipe regarded as a reliable commentator on these things? I mean it’s fairly obvious, but why pick Stipe out of all the people better qualified?
