I think I could've steered NUFC through Bruce's "cup run". Rochdale, Oxford, West Brom.
Just like many league games, the cup games were dreadful. I blame the lack of good forward players as a key issue mind.

I'm not a Bruce fan in the slightest, but I think that much of the stuff he has got around him isn't totally his fault. Still can't work out why he took the job.

Yes mate...

til end of season <laugh>

Sky Sports saying Poch to be offered Newcastle job... a thread was posted about it tho :emoticon-0138-think

Haha fair enough mate. Poch first choice Rafa second then. I personally think Rafa will get appointed after the season finishes. It will probably divide opinion on here but he is the best fit for the job. Poch would be great also but I just think Rafa gets the area and club more.

Reports are Bruce is gonna be offered a £20M a year contract.

Avoiding relegation is the goal apparently.
Why does he need to be offered a contract now - he is already a contract until 2022. Obviously if the season does restart avoiding relegation is essential so just add in a bonus clause to ensure we stay in PL. I would only consider a managerial change now if the season was voided.

I would be very happy to see Rafa back - think he would be the ideal guy to guide us through the first part of the new future - also think he looks at the overall structure of the club and not just the first team, which is what we desperately need.
