yes it's slightly less ignorant, but im not saying it has to be one day. I'm not sure why you are unable to see the PR issue here.
The delay in announcing is a response to the complaint. They want to appear sympathetic and their lawyers are likely trying to word a statement to reflect. You can bet there has been no comment by either side because they know that this needs to be handled delicately from a PR point of view.
And if it wasn't us it would be someone else they'd be buying and we'd all be sat here saying "I was that would ****ing happen to us". Agree with all of the above mate, i'm not playing it down or condoning it by any means, I just think she's barking up the wrong tree. I wonder if she would go after the government if the Saudi's decided to buy up one of the big North Korean football clubs?
If you listen to the interview he answers all the questions and says if the CIA or any other persons have evidence to say that he ordered the killing then let them bring it forward publicly seems he's still waiting for any evidence so without actual evidence does that make him guilty - not in this country it doesn't nor any other country
This gets the post of the day award. From one dispicable owner to another, but this one actually wants us to do well.
Due process applies. Present evidence to a Court and allow a decision to be made. The Saudi's are ****s. They are rich ****s. But until convicted by an international court there nothing anyone can do.
I've been living/working with that region on and off for most of my life, my dad was one of those that rode the gravy train to Qatar like a lot of geordie blue collars - he was an electrical engineer based in Doha. What was there back in the 80's vs where they are now - significant growth, but they've been so archaic in there ways they at times seem 100 years behind the Western World. And this is the rub. Around 70 years ago, Germans were rounding up millions of people and gassing them to death. 50 years ago, white & black people couldn't mix together in the USA. A country that put up a wall between it and Mexico a few weeks ago. Our atrocities - imperialism, slavery, crusades, etc - go further back but are no better. The war on Iraq and fabricated WMD was only 25 years ago. The insanity of China, child labour in Asia, Australia letting immigrants die on boats - these are infinitely worse than the murder of a journalist. I'm sorry, but it's true. The world is absolutely full of atrocities - the way Putin allowed his mates like Abramovic to (at best) kick people off their own land in search of oil realistically means Chelsea's kit should be red, not blue. We don't even need to talk about how corrupt UAE is, with a track record comfortably as bad as Saudi.
It’s just becoming irritating now all these complaints. Like an itch on your arse, you get rid of it and another one comes along.
Could be interesting for you! At least he wouldn't sell Phil Jones to us and you would get to keep him.
