First game is Everton away so no crowd won't make a difference

West Ham are desperate for the season to be declared void as they are crap and will get relegated if games are played out

I cant pretend to know how many people it would take to run a football match. It seems a fair amount, but I'm just guessing really.

I would say though I'm assuming the majority would be well spread out mind you and hopefully would have appropriate ppe

well i'm sure if required they could easily use less but so what if it does considering some of the factories / warehouse still in operation with very large numbers of people in them . Football is a business same as all others .

Even if all 300 people were on the pitch they'd have 24 square metres each so no problem for distancing

Indeed, getting 'touch tight' is not an option.

I do wonder if there will be any enquiry once it's done, or will it be brushed under the carpet and talked away as they tried there best

It is bound to be down as most shops are shut, short of a ram raid there is not going to be any thefts.

A couple of things I saw over the weekend: first - the pop-up hospital in Birmingham has had no patients since it was opened nearly two weeks ago and second - interesting interview with Swedish virologist who firmly believes that once you have protected the vulnerable, the virus should be allowed to play itself out ie. herd immunity.
