I notice again that the over excited Yorshireman has publically slagged of and humiliated another referee (just because his team weren't good enough) and also now called Traore a 'disgrace' (rather than showing dignity a la SAF etc... in the public eye and dealing with it privately).

Once upon a time his little rants were almost amusing at times but the guy is starting to really get on my tits now..... and he has the biggest beak I've seen in quite a while...

How do you chaps see him?

I think he's a total ****er personally, but I'm sure that wouldn't concern him.

He's a character, tiring at that. Wait till him and Barton have a bust up. You know Bartons going to have to move in January again, it just can't work between the two of them. Barton could have easily been sent off yesterday, just as I tuned in Barton lunged in two footed, studs knee height into the ball, the villa player managed to jump out of the way and over Barton but on another day that tackle could have been nasty. Barton was upset he had been on the receiving end of a rough tackle by warnock (lb), came on, gave the balll away and blew up. Traore received two yellows, one for a soft penalty and the other for a clumsy tackle, but it was a strategic tackle as they say. It's not like he slapped someone or did something 'disgraceful'. Then warnock grabbed in on the sideline and talked to him, for all the cameras to see. Traore didn't look like he understood a word his gaffer was saying, at least he didn't show any kind of reaction. Why Neil Warnock has to go and call him a disgrace I don't quite see, it's a player he himself signed a fortnight ago. What's that gonna do for the lad, the way I see it he was taking one for the team.

Also Pardew talks about fairness pre match and gets fined and warned. Warnock stands there and blasts a young referee calling him all sorts. In comparison that should really earn him a 4 match touch line ban. Imagine Moyes standing there after losing to Man City (where they received about 5 laughable yellow cards in the first half, which totally inhibited them from competing in the second half) calling Howard Webb names. How would that go down?

Warnock needs to shut his trap and start acting like a premier league manager.

Calling it a disgrace and saying "someone stupid like Traore" was very poor man-management and very disrespectful.

he had a point with regard to the penalties, but ref's are always going to make mistakes. This is always going to be the case until there is an acceptance that ref's cannot be expected to see everything.

He was still out of order and should get a ban.

Got loads of time for him actually. Very outspoken but the type of guy players love. He'll bust a gut for whoever he is working for, and is very protective of his club and players. Not to mention he's funny and a great character. We see less and less of them now as chairman and owners prefer the guy who is gonna say the right thing for their sponsors. Some of the managers are like accountants now when they speak. He'll tell a player straight what he thinks too and doesn't worry about ruffling a few feathers. He understands these guys have massive egos, and also understands they need to be carefully managed while maintaining control. Players know who the boss is. Sometimes he is wide of the mark but nobody is perfect. Actually a very good manager (outstanding man management skills), but just never really been at a club with the resources to show it.

I think those claiming his treatment of Traore poor man management would do well to reserve judgement and see how Traore reacts. He knows his players and he'll know who needs a kick, and who needs an arm, every player is different and the best adapt. If Traore ups his game and plays out of his skin when he is back in, its fine management.

^^ This , and it also save s a lot of typing.

Plus, he is a qualified referee, and so if anyone has comments to make about them, at least he knows what he is talking about.

Bellend through and through. Never takes that horrid **** faced grin off his face, while saying how he's against the money clubs have spent while he's manager of one of the richest clubs in the league. Terrible bloke sometimes.
