Morning all. Sunday morning planting my seeds ... ... in the garden! Bought loads of sunflower, daisy, sweet pea, etc to brighten things up and see a change every day.
Morning marra Looks like it's another beautiful day Here in old Blighty think the weather in for a change this week
I've bought a meadow mix of seeds. Hopefully will get loads of bonny coloured flowers that the bees will love. I'm going to start them off later today.
The place we're working on has around 4 acres of grounds that the gardener usually mows and strims bare. Since he's been on furlough I've been doing it and leaving big verges, etc for the bees, butterflies, etc. It's already having an effect with lots more birds taking advantage. Yesterday we saw bright green lizards, with blue heads, we'd not previously seen. I checked and they're called green lizards, the males change colour when they're showing off trying to attract a mate ... ... isn't nature wonderful http://www.planetepassion.eu/LIZARDS-IN-FRANCE/Green-Lizard-France.html
Those lizards are class! They bairn loves finding them on holiday. We were in a hotel on the ground floor once and our balcony backed onto a garden area, so we used to get them wandering around. Plenty bird activity here. I have feeders out and they nest in the shrubs. Love nature me
