Anyone else got a bit of a soft spot for QPR already?

I watched the game to day (weren't Villa absolutely ****e though Lol) and again I found myself willing QPR to equalise. When They did I was punching the air for them. I dont know what it is but I just like the way they play and they have some canny players as well. I do like Warnock and always had a soft spot for him too, as he is always honest and very funny in interviews. I would like to see Anton do well too and he played well in the 2 games I have seen him play so far.

If they had a decent striker I think they could do really well this season but I fear they will struggle to score goals regularly (mind you there are another 6 or 7 clubs in the same boat including us).

Anyway, I have taken them to my bosom and they have become my second club just as Blackpool were last year.

Yes, I like Warnock and his honesty especially with his own players and not trying to defend them when they have ****ed up or make excuses for them. He is the exact opposite to Wenger in this regard who I can't stand. He does moan about refs a bit too much though.

Sorry lads I have to disagree with you. I can't think of anyone more annoying in football today than Warnock. I just want to slap him as soon as I look at him, he gets me mad and thats quite unusual.

Warnock an old fashioned gem of a manager.
Loved his comments about Traore and he was going to fine him as much as he could.
I would have been gutted if Villa stole that match.

It's stupid really, but it's his mannerisms and the fact he's a whining git. It's everything really, he just irritates me instantly. Never had anyone have that affect on me the way he does.

I wanted them to equalise as well, I like the way they play, plus I like Anton (who had a good game)

Don't like them but boy did I want them to equalise today for my accy.

To me they just seem to have NO striker threat whatsoever.

If they had a striker of any sort, your lot would have suffered a whipping of epic proportions the other week. It was as one sided a game as I have seen in a while but you never felt they were going to punish you really and in the end you could have sneaked it.

    Funny old game really. lol

Exact same thing happened with villa today imo. QPR dominated the first half and most of the second. They did deserve a draw in the end but even that was down to a dunne own goal.

Funny you should mention QPR as your second team. Thought the same thing today. Really like what they are doing, love the midfield, and Anton looks like great.

BTW, stayed out of the fray the last couple of days, but I've been disappointed to see all the in-fighting on this forum.

Yeah, I'm in the states and don't count, but damn, let's just get a frickin' win tomorrow and everyone take a big toke from peace pipe.

My second team is whoever is playing the Mags...As for QPR, I did want them to win, but only because of the Anton/Bent connections.

Bothroyd couldn't score in a brothel - he's terrible (glad we missed the boat on that one!!)
I do have a bit of a soft spot for QPR now though - always liked Warnock as he says it like it is - he was asked, when manager of Sheff Utd, what he'd do if he won £100+m on the lottery - he said he'd but sheffield weds and run them out of existence!! He's a fan as well as a manager.

I watched them yesterday and saw some horrendous challenges by Villa who appeared to be able to do what they want after being booked - Traore got booked for the penalty and got a second yellow - probably correctly so, but neither of his yellow cards were as bad as/worse than a lot of the Villa "challenges"

What I also found very funny was that, with 2 minutes to go, Gary Neville (who, I think, is a good pundit) gave Richard Dunne MOTM - then 3 minutes later he scored an own goal!!! FUNNY AS ****!
