Don't really enjoy drinking inside, espescially with no garden and on my tod. Would end up on the gear by about 9. Can't afford to let it become a habit either. I'm still hopefully we'll see late July n August.
Must be difficult living in a flat. I’d still have a beer mind. If I was younger have a couple of cheeky lines then spend the evening being rude to people on Facebook.
Also the key for me drinking inside is sitting in a bar stool at my kitchen island. Makes it acceptable. I can’t lay on the sofa drinking beer. It’s just too weird.
The biggest mystery in life for me is my Mrs's 'I'll just have a G&T' approach. Or glass of wine. One. I can't have one, got to be two at least. Maybe even three! (I am talking Friday/Saturday night btw) If you're having one, you might as well not bother. No one drinks alcoholic drinks just for the taste, it's for the nice buzz too.
I can just have one on a nice day when having a pub meal and driving. Can't think of another situation where I'd have just one drink though.
That’s generally me these days. If I have any form of drink it’s usually only one, very occasionally two.
My mrs will have three over the course of two hours. I drank pretty solid from 5pm then stopped about 45 mins ago. I’m happy stopping as soon as I feel inebriated. Don’t like being really drunk. Though sometimes I stop then it catches up with me , like last night on the cocktails. Don’t remember going to bed and woke up in my t shirt an shorts at 3am sweating like sucky in a brothel with his dad.
My missus hardly drinks at all. She’s started having the occasional G&T but it will be one drink max. I always drink in even numbers.
