Firstly before I go into this if anyone has been fighting for human rights and protesting about Saudi money coming into the UK for weapons to blow up yemen or been active in fighting for human rights in Saudi then I believe they have a right to complain.... but You've only got to look at Miguel Delaneys (man united fan) articles about the Saudis buying Man United in which he seems almost excited about the prospect then a few months down the line when he realises it's Newcastle United he goes balls deep using human rights to mask his true concern .. I find this type of objector to be disgusting . I'd also hazard a guess that none of them have done anything vocal to stop Saudi businesses coming into the UK until now which brings me back around to my original point .. This country sells Saudi Arabia weapons to blow up yemen!!! none of them have said a damn thing, Man United only back on the 19th signed a lucrative contract with the Saudis , but nobody seems to care., Sheffield United have a member of the same royal family as an owner and nobody said a thing , but they all said how wonderful it was seeing Sheffield United in 5th The reality is that these people don't want Newcastle being good. The only reason they didn't pipe up about the sheffiled United takeover is because he wasn't rich enough to cause their supported clubs an issue . It's done, but there's a lot of anticipated noise from people pretending they care about human rights and not about the fact their own clubs are under threat. I feel for the genuine protesters who have been actively fighting against the regime before the 20th of April this year.
tbh if it doesn't get passed off I will be happy for the real activists and see it as a win for them, but the ones who suddenly became human rights activists on the 20th should be executed
Deal can't be allowed. I hope Liverpool sue the PL for lost commercial revenue if their reputation is affected by association with the Saudi regime.
Clive Betts, the chairman of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Football, said Saudi Arabia's alleged role in pirate network beoutQ "should be an immediate priority for regulatory scrutiny surrounding the takeover". Big Sheff Wednesday fan is this fella, didn’t kick a fuss up about Sheffield United. Doing his job right here as he is also following his stance under his old party leader Corbyn in his dislike for This horrible country trying to hide its crimes behind the big head of Steve Bruce.
Like I say anyone that was fighting for human rights or spouting off about this country owning businesses over here before last week that's fine , but can ask if you could provide me any evidence that you did ?
I have freedom to ride my bike, a freedom not afforded many in Saudi. not sure what ramble you were on about really. Just great to see you change your tune more often than a long wave radio station
Your government sells the Saudis the weapons to blow up children in Yemen !! I'm asking you to provide me with some evidence that you have been active in fighting against human rights before last week , or whether you've suddenly taken issue with them since your football clubs position become under threat. I believe that you have done absolutely nothing and paid not 1 pound towards amnesty international and that you're a disgusting human being using the horrors of human rights in Saudi as a weapon to mask your real issue with this one particular business joining the vast numbers they already invest in on these shores.
