Good lad...you can always get them a new mother, there is however only one NUFC !!! Make sure you've knocked that into the little ankle biters mate!
I don't...this all feels very different to previous times. Bet the silence is ****ing killing monkey mitts.
Looks like someone is backpeddling quickly... https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...eel-threatened.html?__twitter_impression=true
It reads like he now knows/thinks it is done and is desperately changing tack to trying to dilute any happiness NUFC supporters may have in the takeover.
In some ways it's groundhog day. We're left hanging on that a sale is taking place. Ashley never speaks about it. Doesn't comment. Doesn't communicate. The other side acts in the same way. Then three months down the line, we accept that it isn't going to take place. Can't say I've ever heard post-negotiation comments from any of the potential buyers - almost like the whole thing was just a fairy story. This time I'm not certain that Staveley has paid Ashley £17m. Is this recorded in public documents? I can't exactly work out if he transferred £150m to Staveley. Was it that debt was transferred to Cantervile? It's got the papers talking. They always talk. It's food for their survival. But this time the Premiership have got an agreed sale but with a highly political buyer. Football and international politics have never been shown as active as they intertwined until now.
I've never believed in this takeover but am being forced to take it seriously. We know (pretty much) that the PL are doing a fir and proper person evaluation. I doubt that they would do that about a takeover that the parties might or might not decide to go through with. The PL announces the results of these reviews. There has been no such announcement. It must, therefore, still be underway. Neither purchaser or vendor are saying anything. I would suspect that they have contractually agreed to say nothing during the PL's review. We have been in similar situations before. We have never, however, got as far as a PL review.
No. But it's incredibly infuriating that neither side feels the need to be honest or offer a bit of clarity.
It will be announced or as you say we will never hear anything of it until months down the line when ashley drops his interview about him staying
