The one she has ordered can cook all sorts of other stuff too (apparently) plus it is portable and we would take it with us to France each year ... assuming France still exists by then ... <laugh>

They’re about £300. If I had a large covered area I’d get one. He uses his all year round as has a wooden frame lean to type decked area. Bbq, pizza oven and smoker. Proper outdoor kitchen really.

Mines a Webber too, similar but hasn't got the thingy at the bottom so more basic.

Very good. Hasn't fallen apart after a few years, which is a good sign.

Running out of beers so put in another order from Flavourly. They always have too many Pilsners in there though, I'm not really a fan of that.

**** knowss what will be on the barbecue, but I know there's a steak in the freezer so I'll be having that at least.

Beyond that maybe some of them mice prawns and shot sausages Sweats mentioned.

I am tempted to get something really good when I get the garden done but will have to look at the cost.

I've got a Weber that sounds like it's similar to yours. I find that it can get fiercely hot even without using a lot of charcoal. Good quality kit though and they do last a long time.

I’ve got a rotisserie for a Webber bbq which has never been used as the bbq didn’t t survive my building works. Once the restrictions are lifted and you get your new one, you’re welcome to have it for the price of the postage to your gaff.

You need to get yourself one of these mate. No more lighting fuel or soaked charcoal required. B6B12EBF-0678-4661-9D73-DF1AA7139A13.jpeg
Some charcoal in the top and some rolled up newspaper at the bottom. It acts like a chimney. (Probably better to google it or find a YouTube video as it would easier than trying to explain how it works)

I think there just called chimney bbq starters?
The one I have is made by Weber and it cost about £20, when I bought a few years ago. Much healthier not having everything covered in lighter fuel.

    The last embers.

What should have been the best bit was ****, the kids mithering to do marshmallows meant it was tragically undercooked.

    **** beef.

Bit like the coronatics thread, lame.
