I think it was more that they didn't read the email.

Downing Street later issued a statement saying the UK had been invited to take part but officials did not see the email because of a "communication confusion".

 

I think the amount of people who do work for the love,not money, is a very small minority.

It's the constant aboutfacery that I don't like. Within hours they went from saying they didn't take part because we aren't in the EU to saying that it was actually because they forgot to check their email.

They'd make their lives a lot easier if they just told the truth from the start.

It is the article (someone else posted a link to) I quoted, not Kuenssberg. Does that make it any less relevant?

 

The timelines are odd. He was discharged from hospital a couple of days after leaving intensive care. That's quite a short amount of time to be out of intensive care before being sent home. He then did a video message a day or so later in which he looked pretty healthy. Don't think he's been seen since and now he's going to be off for another two weeks. As you said, it doesn't just seem like a bad case of the Covids.
