Finance expert reveals factor that has potential to derail Newcastle United takeover Football finance expert Kieran Maguire believes the outstanding HMRC investigation has the potential to throw a last-minute spanner in the works of the Newcastle United takeover your thoughts?
I’ve got a good feeling about this week. [This was meant to have a picture of the Brown Ale cans in my fridge but blowed if I can work out how to upload a picture here] In other news, if the Captain has hysterics one more time about this takeover, I'm going to rescind my admission that he actually called this one and go back to taking the piss about how he predicts every possible outcome and then claims to be a genius after the fact.
It's common public knowledge and even if it were not, they will have done due diligence and factored it in long ago, way before signing and exchanging contracts and paying £17million deposits. Sounds like Maguire is another who is happy to poke a stick into the festering, Mike Ashley induced wounds of NUFC fans in order to gain a few clicks.
<sigh> I feel I have to keep chiming in. Let's not forget Kieran Maguire didn't think the current climate was conducive to a takeover at all and poured cold water over any idea that it might happen. These people aren't ****ing superhuman, they're just Twitterati with no recourse for wrong opinions. We're letting people who have not the faintest idea what's involved pour cold water all over it. Yet it's easy to see everyone's agenda.
I just missed that post mate. I have alot riding on this please forgive me. I get visions months before events, but I'm not very good when the real event is 6 inches infront of my face.
