My mother is from Camden Town. Camden Town Paddy right enough, and both my granddads were Irish, so technically that is enough to net me an Irish passport. But I’m English. It’s what I am, can’t do anything about that. Half my countrymen are ****ing idiots, but that would be true of any nationality in the world.
Just reporting the facts here and with due respect to people's losses... but... I work in a hospital designated as the regional covid receiving hospital i.e. anyone who turns up anywhere in the districts health system, including half a dozen other hospitals with emergency departments and is covid positive and requiring hospital treatment gets sent here. Currently there are two patients receiving treatment. Two. It is real but it could have been handled earlier and better in the UK, much better. For me that is the real issue.
Australia is the same size as Western Europe with a population in par with SE England. There is no proof that lockdown works. A Chinese report (I know!) states that the disease becomes more deadly indoors, so the lockdown could be having the opposite effect of its intention. Countries with a high density of population, with a lot of elderly , will have more deaths with Covid. PS GSTQ

Weird that tube trains are safe to travel on which is essentially a big sub terranian metal pringles tube full of germs and farts , but police are arresting people for sitting on a beach in the fresh air surrounded by salt water and uv light . There is probably more than a 0.25% chance of slipping and killing yourself in the shower than catching coronavirus .
