Interesting to note the price of oil has absolutely tanked, currently minus $30 per barrel, they can't give it away...

The Economist take on why figures are, for the moment at least, looking poor in the UK is worth reading. Not uncritical of decision makers but not OTT either.

For what it's worth, as someone who has very little time for Johnson, I think the whole Cobra thing is a complete nonsense. Cobra meetings are frequently attended only by civil servants, or the relevant departmental minister(s). I don't quite get the fixation on it when there are far bigger - and more reasonable - sticks to shake at the PM and those around him if one is inclined to do so.

I agree there are but seems odd to skip five at a time of such impending crisis. It’s the one thing being focused on to discredit the Sunday Times’ article.
People can love or hate the bloke. Love or hate his ideology if you can even call it that. Whether you love or hate him, he’s unquestionably lazy and not cut out for the situation we’re in even if you don’t directly think it’s his fault we’re in it.

I will say this to everyone the reason I posted a meme of Abbott has nothing to do with her colour but how dumb she is. She has made a catalogue of errors over the years. I can guarantee I have posted more on Jezza and Trump and when available I will post ones of 'Bell end".
I'm glad I cant see their waffle anymore. So boring. zzzzzz
How dumb she is? ****ing hell yes she has made some high profile mistakes, nowhere near the amount of some politicians but let's just ignore that, the woman is far from dumb and has accomplished more than the majority and didn't have the silver spoon in her mouth. It's amazing that people who are clearly far less intelligent than her have the audacity to call her dumb.
You absolutely don’t have to be racist to mock her but I’ve no doubt the ****ter elements of our media knew it would go down well to do so. Wonder what the response would have been had she had Grayling’s career.

Safe to say though her blunders aren’t killing people as we speak.
If they had a meme of Grayling I would have posted it. I gave him loads of cr2p for being a plank. I'm not interested in posters trying to play a race card. It's the lowest form of argument.
