You can’t help those who are skeptical though really, can you. It’s hard to believe until you actually see the announcements. Mike Ashley isn’t normal, it’s like he’s not human. The **** always seems to pull something out the bag. like I said on a previous post.. we’re going to look like utter prats if it doesn’t go through. Especially with this confidence that it will, not saying I don’t believe you btw. Just wary.
Stop worrying about how it looks to the other fans, they're irrelevant. But this takeover is complete mate, the paperwork is signed, the Premier League is investigating the important players, plans are being drawn, even speculation about future management is hitting the media. The only difference is we are being taken over in 2020 and it's considerably more difficult to buy clubs than it used to be, people with literally no money and running on bank loans used to buy Premier League clubs when City got took over, wasn't their previous owner a Thai dictator? The times have changed and now it takes a lot longer to process, the Premier League are looking out for us with these checks, they don't want a bunch of skint jokers taking over and wrecking the place. Give it time, few days, we will see.
dont apologise mate its all about being positive on here.. if you dont show at least some degree of delusion you will be ridiculed no matter how many times you're proved correct.
To be fair, I do agree with the fact the PL are looking out for us. It may take time, but we’d rather have new owners who aren’t going to the **** the club around. It’s honestly nothing to do with them what ever worries me. It’s always, always.. Fat Mike. I think the fella has bipolar, one minute he’s staying with us till we get in the CL or win a cup. Then he can’t wait to get rid of us, then he says he’ll only sell to someone who’ll take the club forward. What’s it going to be next? He won’t leave until he gets Cheryl Cole to shag him?
I think the same mate but taking a stance of **** it. We live in a country that trades arms with them and has them over for regular visits, decision-makers and those at the top seem to have little interest in doing anything about it and I certainly can't affect anything. I'm keeping it purely about football and enjoying the opportunities investment will bring for the club. A month or so ago I was feeling sorry for my son that he'll grow up suffering through MA, now I'm buzzing at the thought he'll support a team actually striving for something higher than mediocrity. I've always doubted the effectiveness of sportswashing. SA making us a success is hardly going to endear them to football fans other than ours really, people tend to hate City/Chelsea
