I think it’s a pretty fair way to go tbh! The only issue being the thousands of people who would then be made unemployed instead of furloughed, so there would have to be something else in place to deal with the huge jump in unemployment.

 

They're paid to be exactly that, it's like when you see an attorney defending a ****ing serial killer. Of course he has his hand on his shoulder, telling him it's going to be OK. His job is to be a snake.

Bankers are no different in my opinion, perhaps even worse actually. Atleast when you pay an attorney he does a job for you til the end, a banker would happily keep your money and throw you in the Thames.
