Thanks seahoop. So it looks like we might be done with our collective bid, still time for more of course, approx 11 hrs. According to my maths, we stand at £260, which is still cheaper than next years shirt prices would have been had Dick Darstedley and Mutley still been at the helm. I've heard nowt from the club regarding doubling our total as of yet. I think you've all been bloody brilliant in your responses, and each and every one of you should ask the nearest person to give you a pat on the back. After all, we don't know aero, his sister or his bro in law ( I assume at least) and we don't know each other, but our one common love has united us to do something special for no personal reward. Hats off folks. Two further questions, 1. How are we going to get the money together and in the right place at the right time? 2. If we are successful, who would we like to give the shirt to? I remember when there was a chance I had a spare ticket for the Leeds game, Northolt put up a link for a young QPR fan who was un well. That sort of direction would be my choice. If anyone has any info, get it up here and we'll put it to the vote. I'll put a definitive list of everyone who's donated at midnight tonight. Proud of you all, we are QPR. YYYYOOOOOUUUUU RRRRRRRS
Nice one Woody Simplest way is for us to individually to donate/ pay direct to the web link to air ambulance that Aero's sister CazDac posted above. Require's a bit of trust that we will all do it if we win, but much easier than sharing addresses/ bank details. Also easy to donate if we don't win. I am sure our more local to Loftus Road members will be able to find a worthy shirt recipient in the one of the kids wards at the Hammersmith, St Marys or Charing Cross hospitals - the club may help in this as I am sure they get requests a lot.
Hi Caz, my condolences, have you thought of setting one of these up? https://www.justgiving.com/fundrais...8c1&pcid=35713373-8657-4543-80db-e395a8bcd8c1 And then we can pay our pledges in, cos I doubt we'll have the top bid.
Thanks again everyone - here you go I've set up a just giving page to make donation easier. http://www.justgiving.com/Phill-Dacombe Thank You Caz

Aero, condolences to you and your family. I have only just picked up this thread. Can I still donate? Cheers.
To you ALL, my heartfelt thanks for your bid.....As it turned out, the winning bid was for £290, by an anonymous bidder to my sister. The grand total raised by the Auction was £1200. More is to come from the raffle, the pool tournament and the food, drinks, bouncy castle, etc etc! I'll post the final amount when we know! To say I'm proud of my Sister, CazDac, and her brother-in-law Duncan, for what they have achieved is an understatement! The day went really well, although I DID get knocked out of the Pool tournament in the first round! Thank you, my fellow Hoops, for pushing the bidding to more than I expected. You have my gratitude, and thanks, for your words, pledges and thoughts. I salute you all. The day was tempered, somewhat, on the drive home by the scoreline at Loftus Road, but suddenly, we're showing resilience! A draw, after I predicted 3-0, seems to have been a fair result going by the radio....but I'll wait for MotD2 to see the penalty shouts!
Mate, there's no need, as the bid didn't win! My only reason for getting the shirt, and pushing the auction, was to raise as much money as possible for THE SHIRT and by extension, the auction. I know that there have been supporters looking to pledge, but that was not my intention. I used Twitter, Vital, Facebook, and here to drum up bids. I certainly didn't expect people to start pledging in the event of a failed bid. If any of you feel you'd like to, then I know that Cazdac posted a link, but please don't feel obliged. Your support through your bid was enough for me!
Aero I'm happy to contribute my 20 notes whether we won the shirt or not. Let us know how to settle up mate as I'm not much cop with technology, even the microwave is a challenge these days
