Note the words of people like Keys, Hardy, etc. It's all "potential to fail", so when it doesn't they can just quickly brush it away with "I just said potential". There's not one article or tweet from a reputable source claiming this deal won't happen.

Some sources, including Keith Downie (Sky Sports), have been silent since Friday. The independents continue to comment - Caulkin, Douglas - but I think Sky are being prepped for announcements hence why everything linked to them has been so quiet. Just a hunch, mind.

I actually think we might get some actual positive news today. I might be wrong here but Sunday is the first day of the week over there (ours in Monday) so today it’s back to work as normal.

I just want it confirmed now.

I also want covid-19 to start going away however when the new owners are in they have more time to sort things out. Although I think we will survive this season we are not 100% safe yet.

i will the second its confirmed, however you have to consider timing and luck.. they wanted a club at exactly the right time when we were doing ok and nothing better was available..

 

Season tickets will be hard to get. Stadium expansion needed me thinks.

Timing is a factor in absolutely everything though, outside of London we are one of the best purchases. Infrastructure needs investment but we have a large modern stadium in a city center, we have a confirmed large fanbase, an iconic look. It's all easily profitable.

I still think Arsenal was the best purchase in the Premier League, but we are considerably cheaper and have huge upward potential.
