Morning all. A real humdinger of a storm last night that seemed to be right overhead. Flashing, banging and heavy rain that lasted for about an hour. Possible repeat session this afternoon the man from the Météo says. Further rummaging in the freezer and Mme suggests that shopping can be delayed until Monday which suits me just fine. Still I do have to go as far as the post box which is no longer in the village. About three years ago it was removed from the wall of a neighbours house without any warning. You can ask the post lady to take your mail, but some days she doesn't turn up if there is nothing for her to deliver. In my post that came yesterday I discovered that later this year I will receive micro-chipped rubbish bags from the council, and pay for waste disposal by the kilo. I can think of some flaws in this, but we will see how it works. Have a good day whatever you will be doing.

Good morning all from a cool and damp Weston-super-Mare! I am in a spot of bother, I spent four hours at Weston-super-Mare General Hospital yesterday having a blocked catheter flushed. The damn thing has blocked again Due to cuts in spending, the A&E is closed from 10pm until 8am, which means if I ask for help now I will be taken to Southmead Please let me hang on with no damage!
