I know China isn't very popular at the minute but Hong Kong is a superb place.

    Wouldn't live there now though.

If I were to live abroad it would be France, Spain or Italy. In that order.

Could definitely see myself living in France.

A few really, it’s barmy busy in the tourist areas, I think many of the restaurants / bars / hotels are largely image over substance and extremely expensive and the locals aren’t overly welcoming.

I agree, on the first day we went to las ramblas and I hated it, the food was **** and it was just another busy street that could be anywhere. It was just me and Mrs luv and I had planned to visit a lot of bars and restaurants that I had looked into and they took us away from the tourist areas, it was really quiet and peaceful and in general we were the only English speaking people in the places but they loved us trying to speak Catalan, the locals were brilliant and pushed us into drinking the porron (which was for their own amusement). We're planning to go back but this time it'll be away from the Gothic quarter.

Steak is the sign of a proper man :emoticon-0165-muscl
It's the 1st think Broads look for on dating sites apparently.
As soon as they find out a man eats steak they get all wet between the legs .

They have an Arc de Triumph (similar to Paris), we stayed near there 3 or 4 years ago. You could get into the centre easily enough and it was ok ... plenty of places to go and things to do but kept seeing anti tourist graffiti...seemed a bit weird to hate tourists when the city makes most of its money from tourism.

France would probably be near the bottom of my list. Been a few times and just couldn’t chill, not for me.

Depends where you go I suppose, it's a big place.

Definitely wasn't thinking Paris for instance.

I found Hong Kong to be overrated, but I did stay in a proper **** hole when I was there. Decent enough place but didn’t think it was anything particularly special. I like Taiwan though.

Oh, and **** France, it’s full of french people!

France is a stunningly beautiful country, just a shame it’s inhabited by the French.
