Apparently, today we would have been at Wembley for our FA Cup Semi Final tie against...who? Have been to Wembley five times to see us and we have lost every single time. Missed the 1974 Final as couldn’t get a ticket. Then managed to get tickets to watch us lose against Man City, Man Utd, Arsenal, Man Utd and Chelsea. The fun of being a Newcastle fan. Well I didn’t get a ticket for today’s Semi Final so you never know that might bring us a change of luck. I know my wife thinks so. Weather looks reasonable, pitch will be in good condition and hopefully a win will follow. Who do you think will be the match winner for us today. For me it will be Miggy getting the goals with Old Longstaff supplying the ammunition. Who do you fancy in the Final? Norwich would suit me fine.
They didn’t though, did they? So, if they didn’t spank us we must have spanked them. Hence we are in the Semi Final.
