you beat me to it morons some are bothering jamie rueban on twiter... i mean ffs if anything it will put him off the idea... idiots
I told someone there was physical evidence today and they still said it was all fake... i just gave up at that juncture
This deal has been on and off more times than Jordan’s kecks. ball is in the Sandwich bro and cos court. Ashley wants the cash. But if not he will hold on and keep milking the club. He isn’t stupid, £340m will be his final price. Just put pressure on buyers and watch your lot turn on em when they don’t pony up.
I just read a report from a financial expert who said love him or hate him nufc is in a terrific state for a new owner to come in and spend a significant amount on players even with FFP 150 million easy they can also still invest in training facilities etc ... 150 million is more than we would have dreamed of.. then go from there.. i fail to see how we wouldnt improve .. 150 million in a buyers market too
Genius that he’s lobbing a fortune at us in sponsorship and no one can cry about FFP breaches as he’s not a registered shareholder
You're only paying attention now, we have been listening to this same line for ****ing years now. To me, he wants to sell, and if the forms are at the premier league desks waiting to be signed I don't think he can just pull out. If the legal teams have agreed a price and signed documentation, there's no last minute price hikes. I'm sure Staveley will sue him, as she is Barclays bank.
I think it's fantastic for you, they don't even have to put much in just not take anything out and make sponsors pay. Ashley had it all ways and you paid the price, now you have someone who will want to build on their investment.
I agree it’s bollocks. Brought in to try and keep the status quo for the established big clubs. City upset the applecart amongst the European elite and basically ****ed it for anyone else wanting to try and emulate what they’d done.
Indeed, paying £12m a season to stick the name of his holding company on our training ground and has just paid £30m to be the first in an non existent queue to have the naming rights to our new stadium. It’s ****ing genius
Has it even worked at all? The only reason I see the league being closer is due to an increase in billionaire owners, not some magic rule being established.
thanks mate any improvement was a little hope and It sounds like over time it might be a big slice of hope.
