a day to go until the game but after the 4-0 win against Stoke at the Stadium of Light last Sunday we will be going there full of confidence.

Norwich have had a ok start to the season and it won't be an easy game, no game is in this league but with the confidence growing and the lads starting to gel I am pretty confident we will come away from the game with a point if not all 3.

The additions of Wes Brown and John O'Shea for me have been massive, over the last few years especially away from home we have chucked away points in my opinion because we have not realy had any leaders on the pitch who can hold it together and get us through the last 15minutes of so, Wolves and Stoke both away last season are prime examples of us chucking points down the drain.

I am going for us to scrape a victory and make it 2wins out of 2 moving us further up the table.

As for the team, same Xl that started against Stoke

Player to watch? As always for me will be Sess, if he can dictate the game like we know he can then we will be all happy mackems by tomorrow night

Going for the 2-2 draw mate for the same reasons you say we might scrape a win a tough game against a team who will be well up for this game. Okay last weeks game will have given the team a boost but, will Bruce pick the same team I'd say not?
For me Sess should be put back on the wing where he actually scored last season and not played in this dogshit free role which he does nothing but run around all game. Either way mate 1 or 3 points is a decent return away from home.

if we have aspirations of finishing top 10 then we should be targeting this as a must win, considering our woeful home form (2 wins in 11). Just my opinion like

Agree mate but, targeting and winning are different things when it comes to SAFC.

Just like how Blackburn came to SJP full of confidence after their win against Arsenal?

I really wouldn't look too much into this whole previous result confidence thing. I've rarely ever seen such a theory work in practice. Countless times last season we had cracking results and then the next game we either lost or had a pretty lifeless performance.

Any away game is tough imo. Mind you, I am desperately hoping for a draw here as it would win me £3200 if QPR and Villa draw.

****ing rights I will if I ACTUALLY win this bet.

Somehow I think something is just lurking around the corner to screw it up though. QPR are looking good against Villa, so Villa would need some luck on their side to scrape a draw. Even if that unlikely result comes true, I then have to deal with the Norwich and Sunderland game. It seems like such a long road ahead, but we'll just see how it goes.

I wish these two games had already won so I was just waiting on two more predictable matches, like the Chelsea and Man City match or something.

Well I'm quietly confident of a 3-0 win for the lads, Bendy, Sess and Larsson the scorers. But I could be wrong, according to my wife I am about everything, lol.....

Thanks to Dunne being a muppet in injury time, it all depends on Norwich vs Sunderland now.

Only the biggest of true, true ****s on this planet would wish that really. If any mackem had this opportunity I'd be rooting for them to win. After all, it's a lot of money, and outside of football and this forum we're all just normal people.

chappaz i'm desperate for us to get 3 points tomorrow mate but if we draw i'll be the 1st to come on here to congratulate you, it's hard enough predicting 3 or 4 teams to win/draw so you must have put a few on to win this big, unless you've put big big money on
EDIT: Why don't you stick 100 quid each on a Sunderland or Norwich win for a consolation prize?

10 team accumulator mate. Stuck £2 on with odds of over 1500/1. Wish I put more money on now but I won't complain!

That's EXACTLY what I've just been mulling over in my head. If I hoy £150 on either a Norwich or Sunderland win, then I'm either going to end up with either £2900 if its a draw, or £100 if Sunderland or Norwich win. That's looking like the most appealing option to be honest. Either that, or I place larger bets and basically guarantee myself around a £900 win no matter what the result is.

if i were you i'd put 500 each on Sunderland and Norwich to win, the worst you going to do is win around 2000 whatever the outcome, anyway where we going for our night out? haha

variety of advice on their mate, take mine and put 500 each(or whatever you can afford) on sunderland and norwich, if you don't and 1 of them win you'll be quite devastated
