I think it depends on how old the person you ask is. A lot of those clubs you list have a very iconic history.
Think about it like this. The buyer - Amanda - has been transferred a loan of £150m, and the lender is Mike Ashley. This is a fact. Meanwhile, Amanda has added RB Sports - the Reuben Bros - to the holding company being used to borrow that money. That means Amanda and the Reubens owe Mike Ashley £150m. To be able to pull out at this stage, he would have to ask for his £150m with no assets transferred. Or, Amanda and the Reubens (and PIF) would have to be unable to find the £150m used to pay off Ashley. At this stage, with PL checks submitted, this is unlikely to happen. Would the PL stop based on their test? No. If it was MBS himself, would they say no? Not in a ****ing lifetime. It's not, though, it's squeaky clean Amanda and British billionaires the Reubens. No criminal record, proof of funds, so they will pass easily.
The £150M loan to me suggests it is all done and dusted. Just waiting fro the right moment for an announcement
