Not finished yet but it’s getting a bit daft. Think I’m just going to tell her to take her daft summer house and get ****ed.
Was looking in there for a summerhouse the other week (you know...when we were allowed out!) Looked nice quality stuff, although not cheap
Swann Timber, I bought a shed from them last year, decent shed and at a competitive price. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
They are very good quality sheds. They have an outdoor showroom that you can look at their sheds. I think it was near York, could be wrong. Worthwhile having a look.
Bob, my advice ( which will be better than other you receive) is don’t ****ing bother. It’ll get infested with rats at some point. Either nesting in the bastard or in a burrow under it. Then they’ll get in your house. They’ll gnaw through your floorboards behind the kick boards and get into your kitchen. They won’t stop until they get into your fridge. They won’t stop until they are eating your special trifle. The one I made you. Think on old friend, think on.
I make a pretty good living out of selling euphemisms to literary porn novelists. E. L. James, Rachel Johnson, Morrissey. Those kind of people. So I'll be having 'eating your special trifle', if you're agreeable. It'll be worth a pretty penny, I'm telling you. One of the dirty ****ers will pay a healthy Kings ransom for such a titillating, saucy phrase. I just need to work out what it's actually a euphemism for and Bob's your Uncle, Fannie's your Aunt, everything's coming up Clover for Ernie.
Thats the back. It’s a climbing training wall. Basically my home gym. Important for me because it takes years to strengthen tendons and ligaments to the point where you can hit some of the longer, harder mountain routes without just failing at best or more likely injuring yourself.
Well I have decided to push ahead with my own plan. I have bought some of these blocks to build the frame off as it will just save me a **** load of hassle pouring my own feet nor cost much more than me buying all the gear to do them myself. With the added bonus it will act as a jig to help ensure the frame all goes together straight and true. https://www.wrekinconcreteproducts.co.uk/products/standard-deckin-block/ Question for the builder types on here. They are going on top of a nice thick concrete slab, but the top surface of the slab is totally ****e and uneven. Will I need sand across the top to bring each foot level to each other or will compacted soil be ok? With the slab underneath it’s got nowhere to go, and the rest of the area under the shed will be filled in with soil and rubble once the base frame is built.
Before Covid-19 kicked off I went into my local and asked the barmaid for a euphemism, so she gave me one.
Just to hi jack bobs thread I’ve got an old asbestos garage that’s knackered Just want a basic pre cast in its place with a new base I’ve looked on a few websites and can’t see a price without giving my email address and they can get ****ed for that Anyone any idea how much to remove, new base and a basic 14x9 foot pre cast garage will be??
Do you know is it really asbestos or is it cement board? I believe asbestos disposal is a specialist service so will cost a bit. Cement board looks a bit like asbestos but can be disposed of normally, I think.
