At least I’ll own a telly when I’m retired. Of course it will be taken off me once I can’t look after myself.
A proper sign of the times and no mistake. Even the length of a metre as been reduced due to the lockdown. So London, why does it seem to be hit more than other areas?
In that case I will be a peasant for about another 8-12 years until the mortgage is paid off. Then will I be middle class? I'll shop at Waitrose and everything. I'll go to Worthing instead of Bognor, buy some corduroy slacks instead of jeans and eat a Bills instead of Nandos.
This morning is day 5 for me from travelling back home on the train from Killie. If I caught the lurgy today’s the day for symptoms to show. Anxiety through the roof here
You mean I've paid a mortgage of one sort or another for 27 years give or take and the fake flu will see me out on the streets? What about all that tax I've been paying since my Saturday jobs and paper round? I feel like such a schmuck. I should have done a series of menial jobs and lived off the state all my life and sat back and chuckled at every greenhorn struggling with their lot.
USPGA said they'be back playing in June behind closed doors, can live with that if I can get a bet on also there'll be a row today when EPL meet, they want the league ended before end of June, something like 80 player's contracts end on the 30th,nare a mention of health though with top 6 leading the march. Hmmmm.....
The London Mayor is trying to force the Government to make wearing masks mandatory on public transport in the capital. Not long ago he was saying there was zero risk of catching the coof on public transport. Expect to see police dragging people off tubes and buses arresting and handing out fines to people that don't have a mask. https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-london-52312906 Next it will be no mask no shopping for food .
Economy contracting by 35% but at least some folk have been spared an extremely unlikely early grave. The price we will all pay for this will make the last 10 years recovery from the financial crash seem like a walk in the park. Horrendous decision all round. See the death stats are out via ONS, definite surge in deaths but Covid only accounts for 60% of the increase, so what might be causing the other 40% of deaths? The lockdown itself? And still no evidence that the lockdown works - absolutely zilch. #ENDTHELOCKDOWN
You will probably be stigmatised by fellow passengers arrested and fined. It would be easier to hand the masks out at stations but that would be too easy. You would be far more likely to get sick from repeat wearing and touching the same mask
I might try one of these instead, bound to create an instant 2m distancing perimeter please log in to view this image
