I know. Doesn’t matter as long as Liverpool get their title. We only need 20 clubs to have a PL and even some of them are #smallclubs

How much advance notice do they need? If they agree to return this season behind closed doors that doesn't count?

Would take that if I were you ... your most recent form suggested you would be drawing your way to the title and falling short of the record anyways <ok>

It’ll ultimately be their choice, as they’ll vote on it. Doesn’t make it fair in terms of the integrity of the league though does it? As the only reason they’d take that choice is because of the ££££

You can answer my question now, are you actually a scouser or not?

This is something beyond football's control and applies to all teams, so nowhere near the disgrace of last season where Spurs were allowed to flaunt the rules and move to their new stadium whenever was convenient for their own profit.

So are you a scouser or not? Come on lad don’t be shy, everyone has assumed you’re a plassie OOTer anyway, so you might as well share.

You not read the latest reports?

Any players out injured at the time of shutdown will have to miss as many games as they would have if the league had carried on, only fair way of doing it to keep the integrity of the game in tact.

Pogba has asked for clarification if the rule also applies to players faking injuries because they can't be bothered any more

    What rule did Spurs flaunt?
I'll give you a clue. There isn't one.
There was an FA rule at the start if this season that it had to be completed before 1 June. If it can't be then that is tough on Liverpool but rules are rules.

tbh i expect a whole swathe of div 1 & 2 clubs to go to the wall over this. Wouldn't be surprised to see quite a few champ teams in administration or worse as well . may even have couple of PL teams in trouble ,

I've got ST's at Swansea city and think they'd be ****ed without crowds next season. They can't be alone in that.

I've renewed for next season to help keep their cash flow going, and wouldn't expect a refund on the games that won't get played this season once it is voided.

Not sure how many would do likewise though. One thing I did think is that when next season does start, allow ST holders in and spread us out. Don't allow sales of other tickets until full crowds are allowed.

This isn't that practical for PL teams though as season tickets sales are huge at most grounds.

If next season starts with no crowds, football itself will go to the wall ultimately. It's not a game for internet streamers, sorry.

As you know, it gets increasingly worse as you go down the pyramid Chief. Non-league clubs are massively dependent on matchday revenue and sponsorship. There's not much TV money or merchandise income down there. I know some internet streaming ****ers think that they're #smallclubs so they don't matter but one such #smallclub in the National League this season is Notts County, the oldest club in the country.

I expect my non-League club to ask the fans to dip into their pockets next season for matches that they will only be able to see on the club website a couple of days later. Hopefully the TV folk will let them post the whole match online.

No hidden agenda, Tobes. It was a genuine question. Even forget the league.
