If the season is going to be finished I agree wholeheartedly. There will be a team with players who know they may not be wanted in the future. Needs a manager who knows them and can motivate them or it could end in disaster with us being the richest team in the Championship.
As I stated, how is this going to happen and which of the clubs better placed not only in playing staff/revenue are you pushing out? If FFP is relaxed then I would expect Megafon/USM to up the deals they have with Everton via Moshiri/Usmanov and for them to make a wedge from the Dock redevelopment - (the real reason for buying EFC) Sure Wolves and Leicester will also have nice deals. So again be able to outspend/outbid and attract the players Allegri wants. So as part of this 10 year plan, when will this CL/top four be accepted.
That’s why they bought it ffs. They wanted to promote Abu Dhabi as being the new Dubai, and have invested circa £1.3BN in total. The club is worth at least what they’ve spent and so if they sold tomorrow they’ve had years of worldwide advertising for effectively nothing.
If City or United were up for sale, which would be snapped up first? The worldwide global brand or Man City? There is nothing in this for three seperate investment funds if they are just going to pump money into the club. Better at £250bn using a slice of that money to buy United.
No but they will want a return on their investment which they won’t get by splurging loads of cash straight away. It will be a long term project. I genuinely think you’re getting over excited and way ahead of yourself.
He’ll still be digging that hole but it will have got so deep that he’ll have been forced to set up home in it.
top 4 or 6 just to be clear im happy with top 8 ... all the indications are that the investment plans are astronomical and I didn't choose that word ..., so i feel encouraged .
Who did, to buy United? I would expect that was paper talk to raise share prices. Why buy a company that has no real global brand in the aim of making money in 10 years when you could have paid for a cash cow with a global reach/captive audience.
still unsure who will see the benefit. Of every £1 invested the breakdown would be 0.80 for the Saudis, and 0.1 each for the two other funds. For what return?
