I was educated in a state comprehensive school, 5 "o" levels. Iain Duncan Smith had a private education, 1 "o" level. Only one of us is a Tory......

I don't think for one second she was laughing at the people dead, she clearly raised a smile at Morgan cutting her off to make her answer the question, but it was a huge error of judgement given the subject matter.

It's rare that they have any answers to the questions, they're used to being able to bluster through and turn the story to their own agenda that they want to promote without being challenged.

Unfortunately for them, as there's literally nothing else happening in the world right now, Piers Morgan has nothing to get outraged about so he's going after the government.

To plagiarise (there's another for you) Boris Johnson "I would rather be found dead in a ditch" than vote Conservative.

Of course not, but she did come across as flippant, which looked terrible.

As for Morgan, I don't like him, but he did have good reason to become increasingly annoyed as the interview went on.

She blatantly stuck to her briefing and tbh handled her deflections very poorly.

Morgan was asking questions that the public want answering and as the' care minister' she should have some idea of the answers.

Whatever Morgan is or isn't there's no denying that her interview was anything but a shambles. I wouldn't even say he's going after the government, he was asking quite reasonable questions that she just kept ignoring ... and grinning.

Just been watching various TV news programmes, lots about how, especially when poor PPE, the medics looking after those with Coronvirus, catch it and die.

It made me think of the 'Forlorn Hope', these were the soldiers who were the first to attack say a breech in a wall (19/18 th Century, ) and usually dies... I reckon we have asked too many of our nurses and doctors (and care home staff) to be Forlorn Hope!

One of the supermarket owners over here went off at a guy who tried to return 1000 rolls of toilet paper and 150 botttles of hand sanitiser looking for a refund...

They own a chain of supermarkets so the guy probably purchased them from a number of stores
