Homemade kfc tonight. I’m a tad excited.

have been soaking the chicken pieces in buttermilk overnight.

 

I made pork souvlaki for the BBQ last night. But had to use pork fillet as butcher didn't have any shoulder.

after grilling I chopped it up and stuffed it in a Pitta and sprinkled on feta at the end - yes, we had skinny chips with it too - like being in greece!




Had to fight the youngest for the pink plate!

Decided to do triple cooked chips to go with the kfc. Am par boiling the chips in beef stock first. Has potential to either be horrid or really good.
