    Just watching the QPR game.

Top 10 team imo if they keep playing as well as they are at the minute. Anton looks like a proper footballer, gutted he left. I feel we may be a little short at cb, unless Laing is progressing quickly.

Unfortunately I am of the opinion that he flattered to deceive. He would have more bad games than good ones, admittedly the good ones were very good but too few. I believe we have plenty of cover at CB, (Titus, Turner, Wes and Oshea) not too worried on that position. Other positions scare the crap out of me though, LB LW for starters

to be fair mate I cannot think of Anton having a bad game for ages and ages for us.

Even when played out of position I always thought he never looked out of place and done a job

Got to admit I was disappointed he left, looked really good with Brown.
I thought this was going to be a big season for him.

Poolie, I can only go on the games I see on Tele over here and the ones I saw he didn't look composed and was continually out of position. But not being at all the games I'm only commenting on the ones I saw.

Think its just one of those things if the manager doesn't fancy you then there isn't much you can do.

was the same with Jones now Anton rekon Gordon will be off next

    Agreed!!

im more worried about LB then LW! Especially with bardo out for 4 games , Richardson although not as bad as some would have you believe is stilll pretty shocking! Who are our options after that ? O'shea, that leaves Elmo at rb? or a back 4 of....

brown...........titus.....turner...... o'shea (not bad but i love brown in the middle, steady's up titus and we look very strong)

Anyone know how Adams is doing at Brentford? could be time to recall him

Think it was a no brainer. Well covered for centre halves , last year of his contract, on 40k plus

Then again Bruce might be deliberately weakening the team in time for the next mags game .......,whistle

Anton Ferdinand Is one of the worst defenders in the premier league, no pace, no strength, no awareness, lazy, and no footballing brain. How he as got away with it for so long amazes me. Thank you qpr for 3 mill, he will start slipping up for them soon, I garentee you all.

Got to agree about Anton, he played very well again.
It would have been a travesty if Villa had stolen the points.
Interesting it was said in commentary that Warnock told Anton, there's a time for playing football and a time for row Z'ing the ball.
That was my biggest bugbear with him in his early day here and said so at the time, not putting his laces through the ball when required. I hope ltting him go doesn't come back to bite us.
Personally I don't rate Turner, being able to head the ball once in a blue moon doesn't make a good defender imho.
So i'm hoping Brown and O'Shea stay fit. :)

As an aside, anyone else think N'zog looked very disinterested?

Think it was more a financial decision than footballing one. He would need an improvement on his current contract to stay and we need the cash for other parts on the team as I think CB is looking ok.

Colback can cover LB so I am not sure were in deep trouble but it would be nice to have a propper LB. Richardson did very well against Stoke, I hope he carries the form on as we really need him at the moment with almost no other left footed players.

I prefer Turner or Titus, though with the lynchpin Wes Brown in the fray and his injury potential - any other injury and we may look very vulnerable. It could be another Danny Collins type error.

He could have been great for us, but he has had a long time to make a position his own and didnt which tells its own story.

I just cannot see how any Sunderland fan can be disappointed Anton left. £3m for a player who was on massive wages in the last year of his contract.

He has had long enough now to prove he will never be good enough.

Granted he started OK this season, but remember out of the 4 games he played he was lucky to get away with being weak as piss when Carole's goal was disallowed against Liverpool and it was his poor clearance which led to the freekick being given for the scums goal against us.

Many of you may disagree, but he is a liability. Simple as that.

I have taken QPR to my heart this season. They play good football and have a manager I genuinely like and admire. Warnock is honest and very funny imo and I'd say after the west hamgate affair, he deserves a break in the EPL.

Their big problem is goals or lack of them. Then again, they will be no different to 8 or 9 other teams this year on that count.

Anton? I'd have kept him as we didn't use the money did we anyway?

Spot on there mate. How many mistakes did this guy make, never in position either. Lived of the Ferdinand name. How any fan can say they are disapointed just makes me question thier football knowledge.
