I'm a septic sceptic, scary research if it's being done emphasises the need for international collaboration and clarity.
The Spanish president is to seek permission to extend the lockdown until 11th May. So why loosen it for construction workers?
All its bollocks anyway, construction is probably one of the worst jobs in coming into contact with others.
The Facebook page for the place where I have a property, out there, is reporting a total lack of concern for social distancing among the builders that have reported to work on the urbanisation. I hope that the Spanish government doesn’t live to regret their decision.
This morning a very nice young man called James telephoned me from our football club to make sure Mrs Godders and I were OK and to check if the club could do anything to help us. They were checking on the more vulnerable of their supporters at this difficult time. I am so proud to be a Saints fan.
My take was: the article highlights that a couple of years ago US officials sent messages of concern to the US Gov about Chinese scientists who were testing bat coronaviruses in a lab in Wuhan. The US officials allegedly asked the US Government to send support as the Chinese scientists were inexperienced and the virus was potentially very dangerous. There is nothing (yet) to suggest that this was where the outbreak started, but the article is leaning towards this lab being the likely cause and that the Chinese Government are using the food market as an alternative to admitting that their scientists were the cause of COVID-19. I don't think I believe the conspiracies about China creating the virus as a weapon, but a lab error like this article suggests wouldn't be far fetched.
A good news story. Captain Tom walking lengths of his garden to raise £1000 for the NHS has just surpassed £7m!! https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/tomswalkforthenhs

This is wonderful. The medical staff applauding the cleaning staff, recognising their importance. Torrevieja hospital, Costa Blanca
More proof, if it was needed, that the coronavirus crisis is being overseen by idiots. Elderly people being sent from hospitals to care homes were not being tested for coronavirus first. WHY THE **** NOT? Any death caused by this needs to be a political nail in the coffins of the idiots responsible.
