Two different trains of thought.... 1- a good steady custodian who put up with lots of **** from fans, kept his dignity and stabilised us 2- A clown who dragged our football that low... that the high from that point when another manager comes in will be sky high.... Discuss.
Respect for what he done. He came into an extremely toxic environment, he was tasked with keeping us up, I think he would have achieved that goal personally. And for me, that's all you can ask. Someone comes in, does the job they're expected too and leaves on good terms.
Just imagine the uproar this forum will have if the deal doesn’t go through now. I think I’d be genuinely worried about coming on here. I’d have to prepare myself. This forum would be on lockdown due to a virus named Mike Ashley.
So far he has done all that he was asked to do, just maybe not in the way we would have enjoyed most. I didn't want him at the club, but he has done far better than I expected.
He's done the best with what he has been given. He was given Joelinton remember. Maybe the value of the club dropped by £50m to cover for him being written off (t fer and wages).
If by some miracle the sale goes through and Bruce is ousted, he’ll get my best wishes. Always acted with dignity, and done a reasonable job with his hands tied. One small thought on the takeover...... Will we discover the truth behind the Joelinton transfer??????
I’d say I’m pretty much adopt the same stance as No Chance on this one....I’ll post an opinion in 2 years time when everyone has moved on.
I didn't want Bruce and expected him to be a shambles but once he started he had my support and has honestly excelled. Any NUFC fan who slags him off for what he's done with us is blinkered.
I think he’s been played regularly as that arse wipe Charnley signed him and so it’s a face saving thing.
Nope he is a **** stain. He left clubs high and dry through out his managerial career. He did better than I thought he would do though
