That’s my wife’s concern - and she doesn’t know for sure. She was tested for Flu - but not for COVID-19
It's incredible, and frightening, how many people think they may have had this virus prior to it being anounced.I know of three people who, before lockdown but with the symptoms anounced, had the cough, the aches and the fever but were told it is the flu, take paracetamols. That is in no way criticising the GPs of those people.
From a mate who is very well educated and is not usually far off from the truth.... Someone started this, it’s too specific - targets the old and people with underlying symptoms. No kids or healthy humans. It’s like it was designed to bring the population down, readjust economies, fuel drugs companies. A war without weapons
I think a lot of people have had it without realising and that's it's been around far longer than the scientists think.
The secret death toll in our care home system is another disgrace of this current government thousands have died, and they are being kept out of the official figures, they are lambs to the slaughter, that there is no doubt, and when you talk of rats, the biggest are in that rathouse they call Westminster, make no mistake, doctors have been instructed not to record deaths in the elderly care home system as Covid-19 It says a lot about any so called civilisation that goes about its business like this, utter scum we have running this country!....... I'd volunteer in a heartbeat to line them up against a wall and shoot the bastards.
Both Tories and Labour are to blame for the **** show over the years here ! https://inews.co.uk/news/politics/labour-conservatives-row-latest-pfi-exclusive-investigation-815900
Not to mention that the staff in these home are again not supplied with all the PPE will be on or close to the minimum wage and therefore by this lots discription classed as unskilled. Total disgrace!
That's not totally correct , my mum in law is in a care home in Llanelli , where they do have the full PPE , but it hasn't stopped the virus infecting both a limited staff and some residents , we're currently waiting on news on my mother in law who we saw via facetime on Sunday who is now poorly
Got to be a worrying time. My mother in law is in one as well no one diagnosed yet. Hope yours is ok.
Another 778 more deaths in the last 24 hours. 12107 now. 2 of the largest UK Care Home providers say 521 have died in their homes. Im not sure if these are included in the official figures. Its just awful. Im really trying not to click on links of pr!cks breaking the guidelines.
My Mother in Law is in a Care Home. She will be 100 in June - doubt she will be able to receive a visitor to celebrate.... The staff are great - caring and helpful - arranging FaceTime/WhatsApp calls on a regular basis.
