This could be the one positive of Corona, it's forced MA out the club. Would he have sold if he hadn't suffered an almighty PR disaster with his primary business and the financial future of football didn't look so uncertain? I don't reckon.
It's all came down to this, no matter how badly things go at Sportdirect, the man can live the rest of his days with £350 million. I reckon he thought "what's the ****ing point?" Sportsdirect, for all the talk is more successful than ever, it's now a re-branded massive corporation. Frasers Group could become exceptionally rich soon. He just decided to get rid of this ****ing, pain in the arse we call NUFC.
Amanda STavely inthe last 30 minutes has been listed as a director of the company owned by Reuben Brothers
Also just read that the £150,000,000 is a loan from Ashley to PCP. This has been done so that they accrue the debt of the loan by MA to NUFC.
**** the can's I'm getting bottles of Newcastle Brown in this evening - I'll risk Corona to visit the shops to celebrate! #Bottles
What the ****? So remember there was some un-named cashflow of around £30m or so about a year or maybe two years ago. Could it be that Mike was increasing the size of the "loan" to the club so he could then be owed more personal cash by any new owner? Convoluted actions of the disgustingly rich.
If this goes through, it genuinely changes my mood to a whole new level. My lass thinks I’ve got bi polar from today’s antics. Woke up in a stinking rotten mood. Fast forward to 11am approx, I look like I could do cartwheels from the rooftops, with the neighbours. Still to this second I haven’t disclosed why the mood has changed, due to mike Ashley’s inconsistency. I prey this all goes through soundly.
I think it is a transfer of a loan. MIke Ashley lent NUFC money This is now being transferred to PCP Meaning they buy a club with no debts
Could be several reasons; speed, for one. Also potentially it means PIF don't get involved in fit & proper test, that falls to Staveley who would pass easily. She then sells to Saudis. Mike's got her to the tune of £150m+, it's then down to Staveley to sort out the sale of her shares. Either way, the club is sold. Ashley is gone. It's now just formalities and official announcements.
