    Nothing happening or no announcments for at least another 2 weeks but good signs of progress being made - PIF are on a buying spree at the moment. I'm staying ambiguous until its done though.

    It's basically a load of shifting around on Companies House, but the critical piece is that one of the charges, from Amanda Staveley's PCP Capital Partners, directly specified St James Holdings - that's Ashley's company and is in effect Newcastle United. That's why this is potentially HUGE.

    What this potentially means is a transfer of shares to PCP of 100% ownership. The other charges relate to the other shareholders - Cantervale (Staveley's company - 10%), RB Sports (Reuben Bros - 10%) and NCUK (PIF - 80%), with a bunch of money being transacted everywhere.

    The reason this is unlikely to be a deposit is because it's Companies House charges. Instead it's almost 100% about the transfer of shares/ownership of the club.
