Yeah for sure, going to do a lot more sitting back and smelling the roses. My diet has changed for the better, cooking more and less takeaways. I've always enjoyed the countryside but going to spend even more time exploring. I've been earmarked for promotions which would mean a lot more responsibility, direct reporting to some high up authorities and more stress, yeah I wouldn't mind the extra money, but do I need it? Probably not, so will pass on that and ensure my work/life balance is more towards just enjoying time with the Mrs and the kids, also doing more equality campaigning and protests, where it could have easily gone the other way.

I'd say the reverse is true, seeking justification to avoid the reality of the situation.

I have no agenda. Neither has AFC. It's a reasonable debate where he and I agree on a lot.

The numbers are what the numbers are. I'm sorry it doesn't suit your narrative.

How about we think about taking steps to reducing them in the future?

When it's all over...I'll gather all my emotions and have a think about life and see what conclusions I come to

Someone will have a thread up by then asking that very question

Yes they are. Only the ONS is posting locations outside the hospitals.

Morning mate, you certainly have every reason to be questioning journeys, it's understandable as you are losing colleagues to this virus, who also could be friends for all we know. But my take on it is I'm guessing Saffy must have been able to prove to the police his journey was an essential one - such as maybe visiting or having visited a vulnerable person or attending a medical appointment. If he has moved within recent months, then his essential journey would be afar, because he would need to return back to his previous location. Just a variety of reasons, to explain why he might have been on the train. I certainly don't believe he would have been allowed to complete his journey otherwise.

Yep, the daily figures are purely those that have been counted by hospital administrators, which is why they fall off a cliff at weekends

    **** off hippy!!!! :emoticon-0172-mooni

Id love to think this experience will somehow change me for the better but the reality is I’ll go back to how things were before, I’ll still take regular holidays, I’ll eat the same types of food and I’ll work in the same way (I can already work from home whenever I want and would for 1-2 days a week normally anyway).

And I think a lot of individual behaviours will stay the same for a lot of people.

I do think however we may see a shift in how companies approach things like working from home as they may see savings to be had if people are effectively working from home.

I've pretty much managed to extricate myself from the rat race. But I'm definitely going to keep our volunteer network going, it's been such a shining light for a lot of older/vulnerable folk where I live. I'm also looking at setting up a local veg swap shop type of thing as so many people are using this time to start growing food in their gardens :)

For the amount of confirmed cases, Scotland has had a relatively large number of deaths.

Norway has: Cases: 6,604 Deaths: 134

    Scotland: Cases: 6,067 Deaths: 575

I always thought the jocks were perfect in every single way, it's a great relief to me that they're also just as ****ing useless.

This post sums up just how far down the rabbit hole a good chunk of our populous has gone.

As here’s Saffy, complaining about people actually wanting to know the true number of deaths from this virus. He’s literally arguing that seeking the truth is somehow wrong.

My Mrs works in community support and she’s using tutorials of me showing her how to grow all the fruit and veg to all her service users to get them to use this time to get started in the garden with the idea of them all bringing a little something to their cooking club that she runs for them on a Wednesday. Her aim is to support them and to help them become self-sufficient as much as possible. She probably wouldn’t have thought of this before Coronavirus.
