I had to go to the doctor last week
No don't worry Stan I'm ok
But he told me the amount of people visiting was down about 70%
He was really worried about the old people who are not coming as they are thinking they would be getting in the way of people with the virus getting treatment
He had one old woman who waited four days after having a minor stroke and an 84 year old man who waited five days with a brain hemorrhage before seeking help let alone all his diabetic patients

Just about sums up this topic, no one on here knows F all, the goings on on here are laughable & coming up with this & that, knocking the government & lockdown, the government are not even sure what’s going on but some of you do & you know who you are! We will overcome this but when who knows, help the NHS & day safe, rant over,
Your probably carry on babbling crap & figures

Very good point.....adding to that the many appointments that have had to be postponed during this thing.
For example, I’m about 3 months late for my usual 3 monthly PSA test.....I ain’t one to worry too much but as my level has been rising a bit recently I’d rather get it checked sooner rather than late, as if gets to a more significant level and it’s caught early enough, there are a few more options out there.....I guess it’s just one of those things.

    Cant complain though....

I find the government not knowing what’s going on quite concerning. Some other governments seem to have a fair idea.

Insist mate. I think they have super centralised cancer services and I’m sure the Marsden will be the hub for London. But the PSA test should be routine, shouldn’t it?

Yes mate the PSA test is routine but getting to the next step has to go through the urologist and oncologist....I’m cool with it at the moment but in another couple of months I might see what they say.

Give it a rest Watford...we know you'd never give a Tory government credit even if the country had got through this with zero CV19 related deaths

How about a modicum of balance now and again?

The government's response to and management of the crisis hasn't been perfect by any stretch but then it's not been all bad

Even politicians don't display the same political dogma as you manage!

They were Jeff’s words, not mine.

FWIW I’ve voted Tory before. Not for this re-branded UKIP mob.

They were your words I was quoting

TBH I don't care who you - or anyone else on here - vote for, but your constant negativity is a bit wearing

The most important thing right now is for the government, their advisors, the NHS and the country as a whole to get ourselves out of this - the colour of the party in government is irrelevant

I’ll be positive when there’s some more positive news. There has been some here and there after all.

While it’s a side issue from the actual deaths and economic woe, it’s the gaslighting that grates on me. They’ll worm their way out as they did with the other acts of negligence which killed innocent people and folk will forget and crack on with their lives.

Does that mean that criticism is to be discouraged? I'd say that it's vital. If they're getting it wrong, we need to let them know.

Calm yourself down Jeff. We are entitled to an opinion and it's sometimes refreshing to let a bit of anger out now and then. Is it ok to praise the government?? Just thought I would check first

You are right, it hasn't been perfect. I can understand that but it's the bullshit and lack of transparancy that goes with it. The PPE fiasco, still going on to this very minute despite promises weeks and weeks ago. Testing for the elite, famous and daughters of politicians! Before that of the very people trying to save our lives. A superb financial package in all fairness but one that people will struggle to wait 2 months to access. Very vague lockdown instructions. So yes it hasn't been perfect, it hasn't in my opinion been very truthful either. Do I have the right to criticise, course I ****ing do when people are ****ing dieing in there thousands ffs
