NO club who chose to do this looks good...only the fans that kicked off and forced the change come out with credit...you come out looking like a ****ing politician preaching family values as he leaves a whore house ffs. Both Liverpool and Spurs owners were wrong...just because Newcastle, Bournemouth and Norwich are still doing it, it does not make our clubs more virtuous...NO PREMIER LEAGUE CLUBS should be doing this ... end of story.
I got a response to my emailed complaint to the club in just 24 hours...suggests to me that they have recieved a ****load from fans doing as I did ... threatening not to renew memberships or season tickets...fans can feel proud of themselves that they forced the climbdown but the club shamed itself.
... absolutely ... I'm proud at the way my own club has responded but was also pretty sure about how they would too
So the 7th richest club in the ****ING WORLD can ponce money to pay 80% of it's wages???? I have slaughtered Spurs while you have steadfastly defended Liverpool... Thank **** the rest of your fans shsre the same morals as me and the rest of this board rather than your cheap suited, whore mongering politician morals.
Cos my club acted ****ishly...you acted slightly less ****ishly...both bowed to fan pressure. I acted with honesty and integrity and you acted like your club. I know what is the better thing to do.
... in preference to laying people off permanently yes ... we have furloughed 85% of our workforce and are hoping that a skeleton team will see us through the lockdown ...
It was... but it was the principle I was attempting to address ... I wasn't thinking about the relative wealth of the club ... I was busy facilitating our own
Surprised it took Spurs so long to back down on this. Really ****ing **** behaviour from Levy, clearly he didn't want to do it and only caved in after fans like yourself threatened to not to renew ST's I'm sure you can now join me in agreeing that Spurs are a **** stain on humanity
Your manager's been boasting about how Man Utd are planning to exploit the pandemic for transfer deals
Ours is vulnerable ... not small ... retail so all stores closed and ticking over on internet sales until the lockdown gets lifted
