When I mentioned grace, I never meant as in personality trait. I'll use an example, Greame Souness was hard as nails, but was also graceful in posession of a football. Rooney is tough, but he's as creative as Kevin Davies. As was pointed out by another poster, there is a massive difference between linking and creativity. Rooney is a 10 a penny premiership footballer. There is nothing special about Rooney. He's nothing more than a 2nd rate clogger. Andy Carroll has more potential due to his size and build.

 

Name me a player in the league better than Rooney. Back it up aswell. Suarez will pop in your head so lets get him out of the way before we start. Hes not, hes bloody good but Rooney is a level above. He runs games, wins games, saves games and is everywhere on the pitch. Suarez is not.
