Provided it can be done before next season in a sensible way, it will. If that isn’t possible, which looks increasingly likely, there is no option but to end the season. In that circumstance voiding it is the fairest way to end the season.

What percentage of a stadium must be full for it to not be "soulless"?

Yeah it’s only possible to win the same average points per game in the last 9/10 as it is in the previous 28/29.

This ‘fact’ is proved every season when the bottom 3 never change in the last quarter of the season.

    Oh wait....

That’s nonsense mate and you know it.

Money talks. And at a certain point the league and clubs will lose more money by delaying next season than they will by missing out on finishing this one. At which point this one gets ****ed off and the next becomes the priority.

Things change quickly. Yesterday you were buying Kane for £200m, today it's off. <ok>

It does lose money if it delays enough to stop it being possible to complete it you knob.

How can not completing next season cost money but not completing this season doesn't? Think about what you're saying.

That’s like saying there’s no next year until this one is finished. There’s definitely a next year.

I’ve not said it won’t cost any money for this season to be complete. That wasn’t part of any of my points. Spend more time reading and less time responding!

If you’re shortening next season in some way to facilitate the completion of this one, then of course there’s a balancing out of the revenues you obtuse cock.

Why does it need to be shortened? Just shift the schedule (which will happen for Qatar anyway).

How many times ffs? It has to end in May due to the Euros, which are then followed by the Olympics.

Serious question @astro , don’t you think whatever happens this season is over and was on the 23rd of March. They may try to finish it in some way, but it is valueless in the grand scheme of things.

Why not just break the season before the Euros and resume afterwards?

What do the Olympics have to do with it? No different than losing a few players for AFCON. Or do you mean people would have too much sport to watch and advertisers would be unhappy?

In "the grand scheme of things" all football, sport, or any other entertainment is valueless

I don't understand the position of people (not necessarily you) who think the value magically resets on August 8th and next season will be a normal one as opposed to this one
