Even though it's more upbeat it reminds me of the minimalist electronica I like. Stuff like this...

@Stan was thinking about your depressing comment and was thinking about how that translates to rock music as of course the lyrics are sometimes lost in the power of the music. One of the most horrific depressing songs I like is Animal by Pearl Jam, scary song. That refers back to the abuse suffered by Vedder when he was a kid or a gangrape or animal abuse.

Interesting choices. Did you used to play in a band, if not, I get the impression you know how to play?

I like REM, the Cobain song was brilliant and played on his guitar.

My mother insisted we learned to play an instrument at school and when we were bequeathed a piano in the early sixties my dad left home <laugh> Somehow we scrapped up the money for piano lessons. A local guy just down the road had a group and I used to spend time with them just playing the hits of the day like the Kinks, The Who Stones & Beatles. We were not that good tbh but it was good fun. Can read music but mainly play harmonica for self amusement these days due to arthritis in my hands. Occasionally jam with a few mates here at the American music bar when they have an open mike evening.

This isn’t one of the top ten songs of all time. I think it’ll make into my top ten lockdown choons though...
