Not just met but spoken to. Just wondered who you have met who has either blown you away with how kind they were, took time out to chat etc etc., or completely destroyed your opinion of them after you met, arrogant, rude etc

I have one of each. In 1969 or 1970 My dad took me to Wrexham's ground to watch the England team train before a game with Wales. I actually got to meet Sir Alf Ramsey. An absolute gentleman, could not have been nicer, he was with Les Cocker (those of a certain vintage will remember him) and they chatted with me and my dad for ages. As a 12 year old kid...I was in dreamland
The other one was Darren Clarke, the golfer. Completely arrogant twat, rude and didn't want to know anyone. Maybe he was having a bad day...not sure, but he didn't leave a great impression on me. Graeme McDowell is another waste of space

I've met and worked with quite a few 'famous' people as a musician - most of them were nice ordinary peeps. also met a few as movie extra too - the only person I thought was quite rude and arrogant was Bob Geldorf in Pink Floyd's movie The Wall

Phil Mellor. Went the TT back in the 80's with me uncle and ended up in a back street garage where Phil and another lad were working on his bike. Didn't have a clue who he was at the time like but he was a nice fella.

Gazza in a Sunderland night club. Girlfriend was Scottish and her dad was a big Rangers fan, so asked me to get his autograph for her dad. Was sober, signed autograph to her dad and gave me £10 to get a drink for me and girlfriend. Really nice bloke.

I met a load of the British Lions team when we were following their tour in ‘97 in South Africa. All of them were brilliant - gave time to us all - were genuinely grateful that we had spent hard earned cash to go and watch.

The only exception was Jerry Guscott who was an arrogant cock and simply ignored everyone (we were really pissed though - £ = 10 rand: 1 beer = 1 rand!) still a cock in my eyes though !!

Charley Hurley, Kelly Jones, both superb, Garry Rowell and Bobby Kerr dicks. Most bizzare, Don Van Vliet, Zoot Horn Rollo. And two I,ve mentioned before Jimmy Cliff and Ginger Baker, both very briefly due to circumstances.

Gordon - Guscott = good player - I was in Durban when he made the drop goal to win the second test and clinch the series - still a tool though - no time for any of the lads out there as opposed to Johnson, Leonard and Gibbs - total legends...

By coincidence I met Bruce Willis in St Tropez.

I took some clients to the Caves du Roy nightclub and he introduced himself to me for some reason.

He was on good form, took over the DJ decks for an hour <laugh>

Met Bobby Charlton on a flight from heathrow to manchester. He was quite ignorant. Phil Neville in the lounge at Heathrow. Tried to quiz him on his supposed move to safc, then nearly ran him over in a garage when he lived in rawtenstall. George Best and rodney marsh in a hotel lift in birmingham. Chatted with Gloria Hunniford in the lounge at Belfast airport

Same for me mate, early 90's and women everywhere.

I had a Ch4 film crew following me around doing a programme about the town that was actually screened. Sadly my client refused to allow the footage to be used so I missed out on my 15 minutes.

Willis was there with Puff Daddy and the Sultan of a place I can't mention. They were buying £250 bottles of champagne to spray at each other.

It was all a bit mental tbh

Edit: Might have been CH5, I really can't remember.
