My bank recently called me to let me know I had an outstanding balance. I said: “Thanks I used to do gymnastics” and hung up the phone. That was nice of them to say.
It’s not often that I can think back and remember what I was doing, on any given day in the past, but I can remember what I was doing, this day, 45 years ago. Photo quality not great as it’s a photo of a photo, but, omg, my hair! Mrs B is still as beautiful now, as she was then. I have been a lucky man.

I bought some chocolate stuff for my daughter. I put it on the dining room table, and when she got out of bed, I told her that the stuff on the table was her Mum's and that I'd hidden hers in the house. She was hunting high and low for 20 minutes before my wife relented and told her there weren't any hidden eggs and that the stuff on the table was actually hers. 17, and I can still fool her every time
There'll be a reckoning, every practical joke and wind up, actual or perceived, will be remembered and pay back time will come sooner and/or later. This the wisdom of a silver haired old fox with a daughter twice the age of yours.
I've got a daughter nearly twice that age...they ain't got me yet. I used to tell them that stinging nettles don't hurt if you don't believe they can. I'd demonstrate by picking them, running my hand through them etc. I carefully only used my right hand which has much reduced sensitivity after a botched operation. My eldest was in her 20s before all 4 kids found out I'd been playing them for 20 years.
I tried to get into a very trendy London nightclub last Saturday The doorman said to me, "Sorry mate, you've had too many." I said, "What, drinks?" He said, "No, birthdays!"

You look more like a Cheshire Cat with that grin and I can see why good to see the red and white bouquet too. later I will post a photo of my suit.... apart from the size of the lapels, it good be a match. Trying to decide whether I'm going to do some work today after dropping my lad off, or whether to just have a smoke and play the xbox all day. It's a tough one.
