Uncle Update: Back in hospital early hours of this morning with continued breathing difficulties. Thought he was out a bit quick.
Sorry to hear pal, here's hoping he has a speedy recovery

Exactly. This essential shopping means different things to different people. That has to be right. The aim is to prevent needless trips. If you go out to buy food there's no reason why you can't buy sweets, cakes, chocolate, ice cream, booze etc on on top of your bread cereal eggs meat, potatoes and of course BOG ROLL. But you shouldn't just go out to buy a Mars Bar or one prepared meal for that night only
Sounds like too much pressure on beds. My sister in law (55) fell over and broke her hip on Thursday (I unhelpfully asked about the role vodka had to play, but she slipped in Tesco’s car park doing the big shop). Apparently she made it much worse by trying to get up. She had a hip replacement yesterday and was home earlier this afternoon, which sounds incredibly quick to me. My brother was told ‘she’s best off out of here as quickly as possible‘.
Sorry to hear this Ubes.Uncle Update: Back in hospital early hours of this morning with continued breathing difficulties. Thought he was out a bit quick.
The biggest risk she faces is my brothers cooking.Yes, I think you’re right about pressure for beds. Also think the last place you’d want to be if you’re hoping to avoid the virus is a hospital, so you’re brother is right, I fear.
I hope her recovery is swift and incident free.
Think it's easier to tell the truth than bullshit. So yes I wouldn't mind doing it cheers. Just glad I'm not an nhs nurse or front liner relying on this government, arent you?
Next you’ll be telling me that Prince Andrew has been boxing gifts for the local hospice........

Excuse me while I puke at that sight
I assume you saw it
And to do it with little or incorrect PPE makes it even worse. Then rub a little salt into the wound by telling them it's been on the way for the last month!I'm glad I'm not a front liner fighting this disease.
He likes you goldyYeah, he must take the public for mugs if he thinks holding a few boxes will restore him to public affection. I really despise the bloke
Here's a wee Coronavirus treat for you all.
As the US announced their lockdown, all the TV channels were decoded.... feel free to browse and binge watch what you like, for free (I don't know how long this will last....)

Not being into that kind of stuff......but isn’t this just an illegal streaming site ?
I’ve used it and it works (someone sent it to me last week) but what’s the legality of it ?
Is it as bad as going for 2 walks.......or buying a mint Aero while out shopping for parsnips ?
Regardless of party politics, who you vote for or otherwise, the PPE situation is disgraceful! Logistics of delivering and challenges etc. There have been 3/4 of a million volunteers ffs. There are still frontline staff without the correct gear even now!
Bloody chineseI'm also surprised that this thread has politicized itself with the demonisation of the UK and its politics. No mention of China, where this all started from strangely?
