I love this tree. I find staring at it soothing. I prefer it when the leaves are off it.

Most of the colour will be gone in a few weeks. Beautiful but doesn't last for very long.

Heck of a tree. What is it?

We've got this big oak, it's a bit of a bastard actually as it leaves mess everywhere!

Sorting the leaves is a month long task and dont get me started on when it's an acorn year.

TPO on it though, although I'm hoping I can get rid of one branch and no one would notice.

 

Why's that?

I did see a goldcrest yestersay. That's not much like a hamster though.

****ing hell did you lay that patio the last time Everton won something. Don’t see crazy paving much these days.

 

if it overhangs your property you can hack it down

 

A blue tit or something wants it that small. Predators can't get in then.

There are squirrels everywhere too.

Be good fire wood for a couple of winters too.

 

Deffo an oak mate, gives off acorns every few years.

 

How do you sow a lawn? Must need a big ****ing needle

I think it's a European Beech. Absolute monster. Also has a TPO. Must've been there hundreds of years. Bit mind blowing really. As you say, it's some job clearing the leaves.

 

Not if it's got a TPO. I was trying to explain that to you earlier.
