I hadn’t seen that but don’t see why it’s a problem. The government’s handling of this has been appalling after all.

This is why you won’t make an MP mate. MP’s are told not to commit/comment until they have all ( or enough information to do so). Starmer should have waited and if the government has made mistakes he is quids in. Now he has blown that chance. . Powis comments today were interesting in that maybe the government may have done what they could?
