Monacoger If Rangers had qualified for the Champions League League rounds and played their home games at the large and more modern Celtic Park instead of the crumbling Ibrox; and if they had finished in third position and again used Celtic Park and had made their way to the UEFA final. It is likely they would have made near enough £20 million. All that money could have then been lost playing compensation for destroying the city where the final would be played.
Purpolaris, as a visiter to our forum pages it would only be right and proper if you had respect and stayed on target. I think Lennon did not want to win last Sunday as no dooubt it would just have been a repeat of what happened after the league game last January. Bombs and bullets threats, name calling angry bears on forums, all too nasty we are hoping there will be no repeat this season. Its better when sport wins out don't you think so?
so according to tic sums, lennon has already lost celtic £15m by failing to qualify for the CL. he then cost them another £4m by failing to qualify for the europa, but because uefa had fallen out with the swiss they let celtic back in. seems that on the park lennon is doing £1m better than ally so far. but those figures could all change dramatically if rangers win the league and qualify for £18m + in next seasons CL. and that would be another £18m that lennon lost celtic. you guys are really good at sums aren't you?
Your £18m figure for next season is purely hypothetical so irrelevant. I could say (with equal justification) that the complete opposite could happen. Your point about Lennon losing £15m through the CL is "interesting". Although, you might as well have said every SPL manager has lost his side £15m this season by their failure to compete in this years CL. The fact is ONLY Ally McCoist, of all the SPL managers, was in a position to compete in the CL this season and get that £15m as only Rangers were in the qualifiers, and he failed. Miserably. The overall point, as I'm sure you're aware, is that Ally has lost every single knockout tie that he could (so far). Against rank rotten teams as well
Last season Lennon failed in the CL and EL so by the calculations on here he lost Celtic £19m last season? This season he failed to get into the CL with his failure to beat a financially crippled Rangers team to the league, another £15m lost. So I make that £34m that Neil Lennon has lost Celtic in 2 years Well done Lenny
Don't forget about the money that comes with winning the league and league cup,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Lenny failed there too.
Ally's inherited a team that's won 3 in a row. So far, he's led the "World Record Holders" to 3 utterly embarrassing pumpings at the first possible stage in the cups - we'll see how he rates at the end of the season eh?
Well as long as he wins the Scottish cup and loses the league on the last day it'll be a big success and we'll all have a big love in at Ibrox on the last day
We don't even need to raise our game cos the Hoops are so ****e Speaking of hoops how is wee Lenny's hoop after Ally bent him over and blasted **** out of him
He's still in all the competitions he started this season, so I'm sure he'll take comfort in that. Here, have the 'we're tap o ra leeg in September' trophy. <bagOshite>
